Description
The Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies REF2510R ReferenceMate monitoring kit enables users to verify sensor performance and the integrity of the cabling between the sensor and the online system easily and efficiently. The built-in reference accelerometer assures that a 1g test level is maintained for sensors weighing up to 250 grams. Frequency of operation (61.4Hz, 100Hz, and 159.2Hz) and measurement type (peak/RMS) are user selectable with the push button interface. All selections retained after powering off the unit. Crossover frequencies allow for easy velocity verification. LEDs notify the user when battery condition falls below operational levels or if the unit is overloaded. For calibration verification, reference test points are provided to verify the output of the internal sensor.
Frequency of operation and measurement types:
61.4Hz: for imperial measurements, where 1g is equal to 1in per second (ips), ideal for use with velocity sensors
100Hz: to confirm accelerometer performance at the same reference frequency used by most manufacturers
159.2Hz: for metric measurements, where 1g is equal to 9.81m/sec2 and 9.81mm/sec
