GW Instek GPM-8213 power meter

The GPM-8213 from GW Instek is a power meter specifically designed for measurements on DC and AC power supplies. This meter has the ability to analyse 19 different parameters with a high basic accuracy of ±0.1%. The monitor has two display modes with which 4 or 8 of these parameters can be displayed.

The meter has an RS-232C, USB and LAN connection and can be optionally equipped with a GPIB interface. The meter can be used stand-alone for measurements or can also, via one of these interfaces, be connected to a PC to edit programs and store data.

The GPM-8213 provides the optimum measurement support for tests that must comply with IEC 62301/EN 50564 certification. This is included:

• Bandwidth of DC~6kHz
• Minimum current value of 5mA (resolution of 0.1µA)
• Power measurement resolutions (1mW for the minimum current/voltage values; 1µW for the maximum current/voltage values)
• A crest factor reaching 3 (half range reached 6)
• Measurement for the total harmonic distortion
