Compact, high density, 1U package
USB and RS485 interface (standard)
GL versions add GPIB and LAN interfaces
External analog programming interface
Easy to configure master/slave mode for series & parallel connection of up to 4 units
Control up to 30 power supplies from one PC synchronized via the RS485 interface
Application software providing remote control capabilities included
The XLN series of programmable DC power supplies delivers up to 1560 watts of clean power on a single output. The compact 1U high 19 inch wide supplies were designed to meet the needs of both system integrators and benchtop users. Fast average command processing times of less than 50 ms, combined with the flexibility of industry-standard GPIB, LAN, USB & RS485 interfaces make these supplies ideal for ATE applications. Benchtop users will benefit from the built-in voltage and current meters displaying setting and output values concurrently, an intuitive user interface with full keypad and rotary knob as well as cost-effective USB & RS485 interfaces that come standard with all models.
The XLN series is perfectly suited for ATE systems integration, product design and development, product QC and burn-in testing, production, electro-plating, and other applications requiring high, reliable power.

3-15VDC, 40A Switching Power Supply
220VAC Version
Lightweight and compact
High efficiency
Current fold back circuitry with illuminated indicator prevents overloading the power supply
Over temperature protection circuitry
Over voltage protection prevents abnormal high output voltage
High RFI stability
Variable output 3V to 15V at 40A
The BK Precision switching mode power supply has the advantages of being lightweight and small in size. Comparing with linear mode power with the same power output, it is much lighter and smaller.
The B&K 1692 Switching Mode DC Power Supply provides high current output in a lightweight and compact package. It is suitable for a variety of uses, especially for powering DC-operated mobile radio equipment on the bench. It provides a variable voltage output from 3 V to 15 V at 40 A continuous operation. In addition, a fixed 13.8 VDC output is also selectable by a slider switch. Switching mode power supplies have the advantage of being lightweight and high efficiency when compared to traditional linear mode power supplies. The efficiency can exceed 80% under the best conditions. Advanced circuitry protects against overload and provides immunity from RFI. A bright red and green LED display provides for an accurate and highly readable indicator of settings.
FEATURES
High Efficiency: The unit is operated with an efficiency of over 80% under the best condition.
Overload Protection: The current foldback circuitry is adopted to prevent overload. The overload indicator will be lighted up when the unit is overloaded.
Over Temperature Protection: The over-temperature circuitry functions when the unit is over a certain high temperature to prevent the unit from damage by the high temperature. When the circuitry functions, the output voltage and current will drop down to a safety value and the overloaded indicator will be lighted up.
High RFI Stability: The high protection circuitry against RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) provides a stable operation.
Variable Voltage Output: The output voltage is variable from 3V to 15V. A fixed 13.8V is also provided.
